The NBA season is off to a fast start and one of the surprise teams is the Philadelphia 76ers, as they are 3-0 this season after winning their first three games against the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards and the other undefeated teams includes the Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Indiana Pacers.
The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to be the worst team in the league and they beat one that was expected to be the best in the Chicago Bulls and now they will play the Wizards again to keep it going. The team has gotten some strong play from Michael Carter-Williams as a rookie and he already had a triple double and now he comes in after scoring 26 points and adding 10 assists against the Bulls.
The Sixers have been getting solid contributions from around the team, including a double-double from Spencer Hawes of 18 points and 11 rebounds and the team also got 20 from Evan turner. The team played very well on both ends and the Bulls got scoring from Carlos Boozer, who had a double-double in the game of 22 points and 10 rebounds and Luol Deng also added 20, while Derrick Rose had 13 points and six assists and he was sloppy with eight turnovers while he missed on 10 of his 14 shots.
The Sixers are now tops in the Atlantic division for the time being over the Raptors of all teams and the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics and the other undefeated teams are the Indiana Pacers and the Minnesota Timberwolves at 3-0. Miami is 2-2 on the season tied with Orlando and on Monday Philly will be back in action against the Golden State Warriors, while the Timberwolves will also be playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The other solid game is the Houston Rockets taking on the Los Angeles Clippers while the Boston Celtics will play against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Pacers are tops in the central and Minnesota is best in the northwest while the Clippers are tied among the Suns and the Warriors in the Pacific, while Houston is tops in the Southwest at 3-0 this season and they will put that to the test against the Clippers.
