The Miami Dolphins situation is turning into a huge mess and now more reports are coming out about Richie Incognito and his character as well as his involvement in a sexual molestation incident at a team sponsored golf event when he harassed a female volunteer.
The report from WPLG-ABC in Miami was picked up by ESPN.com and says that Incognito was accused and investigated for harassing a woman at an annual golf tournament with a golf club and he also may have rubbed up against her while drunk at the event. The woman, who is black, making things a bit more interesting after the Jonathan Martin racist voicemail, accused Incognito of using a golf club to molest her and he used it to touch her private parts and he later refused to apologize.
No charges were filed and she took a settlement, which is why she has not come out to speak about it since she signed a confidentiality agreement. He did not apologize and Dolphins officials needed to do so and since this was a team sponsored event, clearly they knew about this behavior. The Dolphins are covering something up with this whole Martin saga because they know they are on the hook because they let this happen. Incognito was on the leadership council AFTER this, meaning the team felt comfortable having him in that position despite harassing a volunteer at a TEAM sponsored event. Classy, classy organization here.
Reports have Incognito rubbing up against the woman with his butt and saying "make it rain" while shaking his body and he later pure a water bottle on her face. The woman said he used the golf club to rub on her vagina and her chest and he also knocked off her sunglasses. The 34-year-old said that Incognito was drunk at the event and now this puts the Jonathan Martin situation in an interesting context, as the Dolphins clearly allowed this guy to continue having terrible behavior.
