The New York Knicks have not been off to the start they wanted this season after making it into the second round of the playoffs and the team has now lost three straight games and is playing against the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night on NBA TV and streaming from the NBA LEague Pass starting up at 7 pm from Time Warner Cable Arena.
The Knicks have not been playing well as a team and now that they have lost Tyson Chandler things could get much tougher going forward and now even more pressure is on Carmelo Anthony, as the owner and everyone else is demanding better play from them and from coach Mike Woodson. Metta World Peace has been solid since being signed in the offseason and with JR Smith coming back soon, the team will get a boost in scoring, but so far the team has been beaten in three straight games and now they will try and avoid a second straight loss to the Bobcats after falling to them at Madison Square Garden and that came after the team allowed a big first half and now Carmelo Anthony and company will try and work things out on Friday night against the Michael Jordan owned team and Anthony comes in after scoring 32 points in the last game against the Bobcats.

The Bobcats are 3-2 on the season and the Knicks desperately need a win and this is the game where they need to do it, as they are not scoring enough on offense and while they are high ranked on defense, it hasn't helped much in the first half or in their actual games so now they need to do their best to get off to a good start on Friday night and the team lost to the Bobcats without Al Jefferson, making it even more embarrassing. The Knicks and Pacers are going in opposite directions, as the Pacers are still undefeated and the Knicks now have lost three in a row.
To defeat teams like Indiana and Miami, the Knicks must start playing better and having Anthony get some help is a big part of that, as the supporting cast has not done enough for him this season and the team next has a game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday at 12 pm noon and that is an anticipated game and if the Knicks lose again they will be going into that match up with four straight losses. The team is ranked 25th in scoring with 92 points per game and third in points allowed, but it's more than they are scoring and they also rank 26th in rebounding and 27th in assists and they will need to come together without Tyson Chandler or the season could get out of control and that could get James Dolan to do something crazy.
The Knicks play the Bobcats in the second of a home and home on Friday night at Time Warner Cable Arena starting up at 7 pm.
