Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Live Stream: Watch Online at 7:30 p.m. ET

Nov 09, 2013 07:08 PM EST

Remember when this battle would have drawn fans to the edge of their seats? It is the Boston Celtics at the Miami Heat at 7:30 p.m. ET. Check out the live streaming action online as these former rivals hook up for the first time in the 2013 season.

This game does not provide the deep-rooted rivaly from the playoffs. Paul Pierce nor Kevin Garnett are running the show in Boston anymore. This is truly Rajon Rondo's team as the organization thought it best to trade the two future Hall of Famers, taking on a lot of the Brookly Nets' roster.

Though the superstars are no longer in Boston, this game would prove entertaining if Rondo and the Celtics can pull off the upset. The Heat have lost to lesser teams already, so why not give the young Celtics team a chance? Avery Bradley, Jared Sullinger, Brandon Bass and Jeff Green are all averaging double figures in scoring. However, with no Ronod in the lineup, Jordan Crawford leads the team with 3.3 assists per game.

Early on in the season, the Heat have already picked up two losses. They dropped a meeting againgst the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. They were both close games, but the Heat wound up scoring less points, losing by a combined five points. After a 1-2 start, however, the Heat appear to have found their game and are currently on a three-game winning streak after beating the Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors and most recently, the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Celtics are 2-4 and not expected to compete in the 2013 postseason. After starting the season 0-4, they are now 2-0, winning their last two games against the Utah Jazz and Orlando Magic. The Celtics might not get to .500 today against the Heat, but they will travel back home and play the Magic, Charlotte Bobcats and Portland Trail Blazers, all of whom are beatable.
