The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles meet on Sunday afternoon as both squads will try to get through their injuries and pick up the win. Listen to the live radio streaming, bring you play-by-play detail of all the action that takes place at the legendary Lambeau Field at 1 p.m. ET.
Both teams come into the matchup banged up. The Eagles are relying on the young Nick Foles, who had a record-setting game last week after throwing seven touchdown receptions. However, Michael Vick is supposed to be their main guy, but he can never remain healthy enough to make an impact during the season. The Packers will play without Aaron Rodgers, who is out with shoulder issues. The report says "collarbone."
What will the Packers' offense look like and how will they perform without their offensive leader on the field? The answer lies in the rookie Eddie Lacy. Only in his first year in the league, the back out of Alabama is making a huge difference for the Packers in the back field. The Packers' running game was trash entering the 2013 season, but they addressed that issue with the rookie back. Lacy is leading the charge as the Packers have the third best rushing team in the NFL, averaging 148 yards per game.
A team that knows a bit about rushing; the Eagles. Led by LeSean McCoy, the Eagles' use their wings to run on the ground. Philadelphia is averaging 147.9 yards per game, just a few behind the Packers, placing them in fourth place in the NFL. However, the Packers had other sources of offense, unlike the Eagles, but Rodgers' injury will surely cut into their Week 10 passing game.
With a Top 10 offense, it would not take a lot of moving around to get the offense moving. Either that or Rodgers is really that good. The Packers are second in the NFL in total yards per game (423) while averaging 29 points per game, the third highest in the NFL.
