LeBron James was one of many who took his thoughts to the Twitterverse as he was watching the talent available in the NCAA Men's Basketball pool. Not only are these guys nice, but they play in highly tauted schools that are only going to get more and more press coverage as the season goes along. Will they be in the talent pool available to draft next year? James thinks so and knows a couple of guys who cannot wait for the 2014 NBA Draft.
Who knows who will finish in last place? Let's take a guess; the Charlotte Bobcats, New Orleans Pelicans or Washington Wizards? Currently, the worst teams in basketball are the Utah Jazz, Kings, Wizards and Detroit Pistons.
Here is a better question, will any of these players winding up in a specific team tilt James' opinion on where he will play in the future?
Many are predicting a reunion between James and the Cleveland Cavaliers as those guys have Kyrie Irving and won last year's 1st Overall pick, drafting Anthony Bennett, a power forward from UNLV. The Cavaliers are a very young as they also have Dion Waiters, who was the fourth overall pick in 2012. Add veterans Andrew Bynum and Jarrett Jack and the Cavs have a solid bench.
If the Cavaliers blow it again in 2013 and wind up anywhere near last place, they have a chance of once again winning the lottery.
The Miami Heat are too good a team to focus on blowing a season in order to place themselves in the draft lottery. That idea is preposterous. These guys are trying to win their third consecutive championship. There is no way the Heat could land any of these guys. However, what is not out of the question is having James move elsewhere in order to play with these talented guys.
Julius Randle and Andrew Wiggins finished with 22 points each, while the hypeman of the night was Jabari Parker, who finished with 27 points in the night. These guys are born basketball players who can do it all. Their skills are unmatched and when on the court, they outshine everybody. None of these guys failed, living to the hype, though only Wiggins led his team to victory.
Where will these guys end up? You bet James will also be paying attention.
