NFL free agent quarterback Tim Tebow has not received any calls from the Chicago Bears or the Houston Texans after they dealt with injuries at the position and while he would love to get back to football, the QB has bigger concerns with the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan, as Tebow was born in the nation and his foundation has a hospital there as well.

Tebow and his foundation have started work on a hospital in the Philippines and the group announced after the typhoon that the area was not damaged and the site was still intact. The hospital is called the Tebow CURE Hospital and it is being built in Davao City and according to the foundation, the project is a partnership between the Tim Tebow Foundation and CURE International to build a hospital in the country. Tebow was originally born in the Philippines and the construction on the hospital started back in 2012 and the expected date for its opening is in the summer of 2014 and now the foundation has also linked to ways people can help with the disaster and they have been pitching in as well.

Tebow was originally born in the nation while his parents were working as missionaries and he has been very vocal about helping people in developing nations around the world. The foundation has been collecting donations to help with the relief, while the hospital has not been able to take part since it is not yet completed. The organization said that all of the money collected by them will go to relief efforts and that they will do as much as possible to help raise money. The foundation started up in 2010 and with Tebow released from the New England Patriots, he has had the chance to work more with the group and one of his main projects is the hospital.

Tebow's next step in his football career might be on television, as he hired an agent to help him with the entertainment side of his career and that could mean a start as a studio analyst in the future, likely for college football. Tebow has also been working with his father's group the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association to build churches and provide help for orphans in the nation and the two have worked to try and help with relief efforts as well.

Tebow was with the Jets before the Patriots and while he has not had another chance in the NFL since the team released him, that doesn't mean he will give up on his career. Tebow won at every level he has played, including in college and high school and he also led his Broncos team to a playoff win over the Steelers. Tebow has long worked to help others and the hospital and outreach for the Philippines is another example of that.
