Brooklyn Nets Rumors: Deron Williams, Jason Terry Panicked After Loss, Jason Kidd Stresses Process as Kevin Garnett Confident Season to Turnaround Quickly

As the losses continue to stack up for the Brooklyn Nets, so does frustration around the starting lineup. The team lost 107-86 to the Sacramento Kings marking their fourth-straight loss while keeping the team winless on the road. With one of the biggest payrolls in the NBA, the Nets are left searching for answers to the team's struggles. No one expected them to start undefeated as chemistry would take a few games to build, but with just two wins, players are getting desperate.

Desperation certainly was not what the team had in mind at this point in the season, but after sluggish and lackluster play to start the year, everyone is on notice. Head coach Jason Kidd continues to stress "the process", but the pitfalls of that are overtaking any signs of life.

"For us right now, this is desperation," said Jason Terry, via the New York Daily News. "Everyone that steps on the floor (in the next game Friday against the Suns) should feel desperation and come out and play with a sense of urgency. If you don't you'll be looking at another loss. It's what it is."

The Nets gave up 15 turnovers while shooting just 37.8 percent overall. The team failed to get into any kind of rhythm, leaving Kidd disappointed in the overall effort of the team. The head coach says someone goes up for a shot, misses, hangs their head and then the opponent scores at the other end. Point guard Deron Williams summed up the struggles to trust. He is concerned no one trusts each other or the system put in place by Kidd.

"We need some wins. Like I said, we have to trust each other, trust the system and what we're doing and we'll be fine," Williams said. "We've got some things to work on, get better at and it'll come. It'll come."

The Nets have been living off the phrase "it will come" but have yet to follow through with it. Garnett agrees with Williams saying the turnaround is quickly approaching if the lineup can make some adjustments. The veteran has work to do on himself after averaging just six points this season. Paul Pierce is simply just hoping for a wake-up call to the entire team.

Terry was clearly emotional after the game. Certainly this is not what the veteran had in mind when he made the jump from Boston to Brooklyn. The veteran is hoping to challenge and push his teammates after the tough stretch.

"I'm just feeling real aggressive right now. And that's just what it is," Terry said. "When you're losing, getting your butt kicked, things happen. It's what it is. I'm not going to back down from anyone. I'm going to challenge myself and my teammates to get after it this next game and everybody play like this is it, like there is no tomorrow. That's what it is."
