The Ohio State Buckeyes are getting back into the swing of things after opening the season 2-0 and after winning over the Bobcats on Tuesday, the team is heading to the BMO Harris Bradley Center to play Marquette on Saturday afternoon starting up at 1:00 pm and streaming from the Big Ten conference and the game is one of the best of the week, as two top 25 teams are facing off against each other.
The Buckeyes are looking like one of the better teams in the nation this season and they are coming into the matchup after a nice 10 point win over the Ohio Bobcats and after the game against the Eagles, the team plays against another team with the team nickname from American University and in the win over UO, Aaron Craft led the way with 18 points and four assists and he also had three steals and now he will be the focus for both teams as they try to improve to 3-0 on the early goings after both starting off with two straight wins and this is the only prime matchup on the schedule for Saturday. Last season the two teams almost played in the Carrier Classic before weather played a role and now the two teams come in as conference favorites, with OSU looking good in the Big Ten and Marquette looking solid in the Big East.

The Buckeyes come in ranked 66th in the nation in offense with 84 points per game and they have been solid with over 44 rebounds per game through two contests and they are not high ranked in assists or field goal percentage yet, but that is likely to rise. The team will next play a ranked opponent next month when they have Notre Dame and later in the season the Buckeyes have tough matchups against Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State as well as Wisconsin and the first time they play against the Spartans the game will be on the road and that should be a very anticipated matchup. Over the first stretch the next toughest game after Marquette will be against Maryland and this game should help the team to get experience playing ranked opponents early.
The shooting has not been as efficient as the start last season for Ohio State and they are trying to match Michigan State, Indiana, Iowa and Illinois as they are all undefeated at 3-0 to start things off. Everyone in the Big Ten conference is undefeated apart from Northwestern and Penn State and Craft leads and offense that has plenty of scorers, including five in double figures and Marquette comes into the game after a dominant win against Grambling and after this matchup the team plays against the University of New Hampshire and they come into the game ranked seventh in the nation in assists per game with over 20 and that should be a great advantage on Saturday afternoon and they have been scoring as well, averaging over 88 points per game and the rebounding has been very solid and that all should make this an even matchup for the Buckeyes and Eagles.
The team has tough games coming up with a road contest against a ranked team in Wisconsin and the team also will play the University of New Mexico and they are ranked in the top 25 as well and the team likely will be in one of the top spots in the new Big East this season as Georgetown and others are retooling. Right now those two teams are the only ones on the schedule that are ranked and that could end up proving to be troublesome down the line, but the team can't do much about that now and they come in looking to match the 3-0 start that Xavier has had and now this game will go down a year after it was meant to and this time it will not be on an aircraft carrier and will be at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and will have the Marquette Eagles hosting the Ohio State Buckeyes starting up at 1:00 pm.
