Do not laugh at the Browns. That is rule No. 1 if you are a Bengals fan. The Browns are 4-5, yes. They are in second place, surprise, surprise. They might have a group of talented youngsters without much NFL experience, but they are finding a way to win. They are 2-1 in division games and they already beat the Bengals earlier in the season.
However, the Bengals will not simply lay down and take a beating. They go into Week 11 in first place, knowing they will play at home, where they are 4-0. They are 1-2 against divisional rivals, but they are heavily favored in this matchup since they possess such a threat with A.J. Green and Andy Dalton.
Dalton has won the passing yard matchup in 9 of 11 games played this season, the three other times Dalton did not finish with the most passing yards in a game, the Bengals faced Aaron Rodgers and these very same Browns and Brian Hoyer.
In their last two games, the Bengals are 0-2, losing by a total of five points as the Miami Dolphins defeated with a safety in overtime and the Baltimore Ravens beat them with a field goal in overtime in Week 10. The losses have pushed their record to 6-4, but they have a chance to distance themselves from the pack if they can get away from the second-place Browns.
The Browns are coming off a huge Week 9 victory against the Ravens. They are fresh off a Bye Week. They had time to think about the close games they played against the Kansas City Chiefs, where they played a close game, which they loss 23-17. They have a chance to defeat another top divisional opponent and will have the opportunity to sweep the season series against the Browns.
