The 6-3 Detroit Lions take Heinz Field where the Pittsburgh Steelers will host them at 1 p.m. ET for their Week 11 matchup. If you cannot watch the game, check out the free radio live stream available online. Can the Steelers save their seaon today?
The Steelers and Lions are battling in tough divisions. While the Lions are in first place, they will try to improve their record and build some distance between themselves and the second-place teams in the NFC North. The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears are both 5-4 and breathing down the Lions' necks. However, with a victory today, the Lions can keep their one-game lead at minimum. With the Packers facing a hot New York Giants team and the Bears facing the defending Super Bowl champions, the Lions look to have the best chance of winning in the division.
The Steelers are a bit distant in the AFC North. However, they are 3-6 and just 2.5 games behind the first-place Cincinnat Bengals. It would take a lot for the Steelers to get things together, but they are led by Ben Roethlisberger, who has battled through many obstacles in his NFL career. Health has been an issue for the Steelers all season long, but the lack of talented prospects has hindered their efforts in 2013.
The Lions have a tremendous quarterback and receiver duo, Matthe Stafford and Calvin Johnson. Can these two hook up regularly in this game and lead their squad to victory? Will the Steelers make this an ugly and tough defensive battle?
