The fantasy football week is finishing off on Monday night with the Patriots and the Panthers playing on ESPN and as that is happening, owners will be looking for the best free agent waiver wire pickups moving forward and with the playoffs coming up, some of the best player adds includes Bobby Rainey, Michael Floyd, Harry Douglas, Garrett Graham, Keenan Allen, Jarius Wright and Marquise Goodwin.

The top fantasy player of the week is Rainey, who has stepped in for Mike James and Doug Martin after both backs for the Buccaneers were ruled out for the season and he came through in a big way on Sunday, with over 160 yards on the ground on Sunday along with three touchdowns. Martin was knocked out for the season against the Atlanta Falcons and the rookie James stepped up and played very well over a few games, including against the Seahawks two weeks ago when he had over 150 yards rushing. James was lost for the season to a fractured ankle on Monday night in the win over the Dolphins and in relief came Rainey and Brian Leonard, leading to speculation about which one would get the bulk of the carries on Sunday and it ended up being Rainey with the big day.

Rainey stepped in and had a fantastic day for the Buccaneers in their dominating win over the Atlanta Falcons, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while also adding two catches and another score. Rainey averaged an impressive 5.4 yards per carry and took the ball 30 times after getting eight carries for 45 yards and a score in the game on Monday night. Rainey had a long run of 43 yards and Leonard did his part as well with a number of 10-yard runs and Rainey put up 110 yards in the first half before scoring a touchdown in the third quarter. The Buccaneers play the Lions next and that should be a solid matchup and now the team is feeling a bit more confident after getting two wins in a row.

Rainey rushed for more yards in the game than he had all season coming into the matchup and now he should be a solid option as long as he remains healthy for the Bucs. Rainey rushed for the most yards in the league on Sunday and he now has the chance to be a big boost for fantasy owners going forward.

Keenan Allen has been a consistent surprise for the Chargers after the team lost two of its top receivers in Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander and he is a player to watch despite having suffered a slight knee injury on Sunday and he finished the game against the Dolphins with three catches for 45 yards and he has over 20 targets in the past three games combined and two touchdowns over the last five. Allen is still available in about 20 percent of leagues and if the injury isn't serious he could be a solid option going forward.

Allen has had at least 100 yards in two of the past five games and he has an impressive performance against the Redskins with eight catches for 128 yards and while the Chiefs have a tough secondary, it could be a good matchup for the Chargers. Michael Floyd and Garrett Graham are solid options as well.
