The Florida State Seminoles are going through a tough time right now regarding quarterback Jameis Winston and while the state tries to figure out whether to charge him, the team has a football game to play against Idaho and the game will start up at 3:30 pm on ESPNU and streaming online from WatchESPN and the matchup will be from Doak Campbell Stadium.
The Seminoles are looking like the best bet to make it to the national championship against the Alabama Crimson Tide and the case against Winston could derail all of that, because if he gets charged, the team has rules in place that likely means he will be suspended and the issues surrounding the situation could knock any chance of him winning the Heisman. The Seminoles are coming off of a big win against Syracuse last weekend by over 50 points and while the 1-9 Idaho Vandals should not pose a big threat, the issues surrounding Winston could overtake the entire team. The Seminoles are 10-0 this season and ranked third in the nation in scoring defense and the offense with Winston is putting up over 50 points per game and over 450 yards per contest and that likely will be too much for Idaho on Saturday.

The team is ranked in the top five in both points scored and points allowed and they are ranked 14th in passing yards per game with Winston and he is having a great season with nearly 3,000 yards and 28 touchdowns. The team plays against Florida next on the road to finish the season and Winston is coming off of a solid game with 277 yards against Syracuse and they are on a 10 game winning streak heading into the final stretch of the season. The team started the season with big wins over fairly easy opponents like Pitt and Nevada and they have been rolling since the early goings, beating back to back ranked teams in Maryland and Clemson and the game against the Tigers was one of the most anticipated of the season and the team spanked Clemson with a 51-14 score and then the team also beat Miami in a top 10 matchup.
The team has scored over 40 points in every game this season and they are now 8-0 within the ACC conference and they are ahead of Clemson in the division and right now they could end up facing the surprising Duke Blue Devils in the ACC championship game if things hold up. The team has two straight home games with the Idaho one the second of the two and heading into the final game of the season questions about Winston will continue to come up until he is charged or not charges in the sexual assault crime. Winston has been one of the best players in the nation this season as a redshirt freshman and now the Seminoles will play against Idaho for the first time ever and the last game is against Florida before the ACC title game coming next month.
