The Chicago Bears are heading into a big matchup on Sunday with the St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome and the game will be starting up at 1:00 pm on FOX and streaming online from NFL.com and the game will have big implications in the NFC North heading into Week 12's games.
The Bears come in ranked 10th in the league in passing yards per game and part of that came without Jay Cutler in the lineup and Josh McCown has been very solid in his place and last week the team pulled off a big win against the Baltimore Ravens with a score of 23-20 and that kept Chicago in line with the Detroit Lions in the division race and with the Green Bay Packers also losing, the Bears are firmly in contention for the division title. The team had a tough streak in the middle of the season, but they have played very well over the past few weeks and McCown has been part of that, as he passed for 216 yards last week and Alshon Jeffery has been solid as well, putting up over 80 yards last week in the victory and his play with Brandon Marshall has opened things up for McCown. Matt Forte is having a great season under Marc Trestman and he has been the primary option on the ground and he has been a big factor catching the ball as well.

The Bears next will play the Vikings in Minnesota for the second of two straight road matchups and after that the schedule doesn't get much easier and with the rushing defense allowing over 130 yards per game, playing Adrian Peterson on the artificial turf could be trouble. The secondary has been improving over the past few weeks while dealing with injuries and against the Rams the primary player they will have to watch out for is Tavon Austin, who has been turning it on for fantasy owners the past couple weeks. The team has won two of the past three games after previously having a streak of losing three in four weeks before beating the Green Bay Packers and last week the game was very exciting and sloppy, as there was a weather delay and it went into overtime, giving the Bears the victory over the Super Bowl champions and now they have a great chance at playing for the division title despite two losses to the Detroit Lions, as they still have divisional games with the Packers and Vikings coming up.
The team plays four of the next five games on the road with the only home matchup coming at Soldier Field against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night football and after that the team plays against the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles. The team finishes the season against the Green Bay Packers at home and that could end up being a huge game for the team and they now look like a solid playoff contender heading into the back stretch of the season. The team opened up with three straight wins against the Bengals, Vikings and Steelers before the team lost two straight games to the Lions and Saints before snapping that against the New York Giants. The team lost two of the next three and quarterback Jay Cutler, but McCown came through and won over the Green Bay Packers and heading into the back stretch they have a chance to show how tough of a team they are.
