Andre Johnson Trade Rumors: Houston Texans WR Slams Case Keenum Offense, Admits Frustration with Franchise as Offseason Deal Possible to Rebuild in 2014

Andre Johnson is not happy in Houston. As the Texans continue to struggle throughout the season, the wide receiver is being very vocal about his displeasure with the team at this point in the year. Sunday saw the Texas lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars, pushing their record to 2-9. Johnson's assessment of the team is not positive, sparking trade rumors once again.

"We suck," Johnson said, via ESPN.com. "As an offense. That's pretty much it."

Johnson is certainly not wrong. The Texans only managed six points against one of the worst defensive units in the NFL. Quarterback Case Keenum threw for just 169 yards. Ben Tate assisted in just 77 yards on the ground. Johnson was targeted a mere six times, catching two passes for 36 yards. The wide receiver entered the game with 890 catches as the team's leading producer, but failed to get anything moving as the rest of the offense struggled.

Johnson believes that this might be the worst stretch in franchise history. The Texans have tried out three quarterbacks this season. The coaching staff is not helping. Arian Foster is out for the year, hurting any production on the ground. Johnson is simply just not happy about the status of things in Houston.

"You're not going to play perfect every single game, but I mean, it's been bad, you know?" Johnson said. "They were booing us last week. They booed us before. I said it before, if we're not putting good stuff on the field, we ain't giving them nothing to cheer about. They booed. They should boo. I think our record shows it," Johnson said. "Yeah, if you look at our record, yeah, we're the worst team."

Houston is now in competition with Jacksonville and Atlanta for the worst record in the league as the team prepares to enter a rebuilding process in the offseason. It is not clear whether or not Johnson intends to be a part of that ordeal. The wide receiver is currently under contract through 2016. He will make $6.5 million next season, but will become a heavier salary cap hit over the next few years.

The Texans could certainly get something in return for Johnson. Whether it is draft picks or depth, he is worth something. After already seen fighting on the sidelines with teammates, moving Johnson out of Texas appears to be something to watch in the offseason.
