The college football weekend has a number of rivalry games going on and in the ACC on Saturday the Maryland Terrapins and the NC State Wolfpack will be facing off in a matchup at Carter-Finley Stadium and the game has two teams hoping to end things on a positive note and Maryland can make their bowl resume look better with a win in the game on ESPN3 starting at 12:30 pm.
Maryland was ranked in the top 25 for a time and eventually fell out after a terrible shutout loss against Florida State and they allowed 63 points in that game and now the team comes in having lost four of the past five games, winning only over Virginia Tech in overtime a couple weeks ago and now they come into the game after losing at home to Boston College on Saturday and now the team will be playing on the road against NC State and the team comes in passing for over 250 yards per game and scoring nearly 30 points per contest. The team lost tough games in their three game losing streak, including against Clemson and Syracuse and the team has lost all its games against the top 25 this season.
Things started off promising for Martland when they started the season 4-0 and the team won games over FIU and Old Dominion to start things off and then the team won on the road for the first time this season against UConn before shtting out West Virginia at home, but that was the end of consistent play for the Terrapins. The team lost next in bad form against Florida State and the won by one against Virginia and then the team suffered the three game losing streak before breaking it against Boston College and now the team finished the regular season against NC State in a game streaming on ESPN3.
