The BYU Cougars are hitting the road to play their final game of the season against the Nevada Wolfpack and at 7-4 already on the year, the team should get a solid bowl game and on Saturday they will head to Mackay Stadium for a game that will be on the CBS Sports Network starting up at 3:00 PM and streaming online.
BYU has put up some great numbers in games this season, especially rushing the ball and the main reason has been the play of quarterback Taysom Hill, who is leading the team in both passing and rushing yards and has been one of the most impressive players in the nation. Hill has been the focal point of the offense all season and he has over 2,500 yards passing and 17 touchdowns while also rushing for over 1,000 yards and another right scores and he is one of the leaders nationally in combined yards this season and for the team to make some noise on Saturday he likely will need to have another good game. Cody Hoffman leads the team in receiving with 43 catches for 713 yards and he will be the number one target in the air on Saturday. The team comes in averaging over 260 yards on the ground and both teams will try to be aggressive out of the gate for the rivalry matchup on Saturday.

BYU comes into the game after a tough loss on the road against Notre Dame and the back stretch of the schedule had three road games in four weeks to finish the season and the team has lost two of those games already to Wisconsin and then the Irish, with a big win over Idaho State at home in the middle. The team now plays against Nevada and before the loss to the Badgers, the team has won five games in a row and now they will try and get back to that form as they end the season against Nevada and a win on Saturday would put the team in nice position for a bowl game at 8-4.
The team comes into the game ranked 65th in the nation in passing yards with over 230 per game and their strength comes from rushing the ball, as they rush for over 260 yards per contest and rank in the top 15 of the nation and the defense has been solid as well, allowing just 21 points per game. Hill leads an offense that averages over 30 points per game and he is going up against a defense that ranks 104th in defensive scoring and that could mean a big day. The Wolfpack comes in after a win over San Jose State and that game saw the opposing quarterback David Fales go for over 320 yards and that could mean a big day for Hill on Saturday. The team comes in ranking 48th in the nation in rushing yards per game and that win over SJSU ended a five game losing streak and now the team will try and finish things on a high note.
