The college football schedule has some great rivalry games going on Saturday and one of the best has the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Wisconsin Badgers going at it in a Big Ten conference game that is starting at 3:30 PM on ESPN and will be streaming live from WatchESPN at Camp Randall Stadium and is the final game on the regular season schedule for the schools.
Wisconsin wants to end on a high note and while they can't get into the title game with Ohio State and Michigan State already set, they can put themselves in position to have a nice bowl game if the team can finish 10-2 on the season after coming into the game 6-1 in the conference and 9-2 overall and the team is currently ranked 15th in the nation. Penn State comes into the game after a close loss against Nebraska and the team has Christian Hackenberg leading the way and he has been having a nice season with 2,616 yards and 16 touchdowns and his leading receiver has over 1,300 yards already this season and the matchup on Saturday could have some hard play up front on both sides. Hackenberg had over 200 yards last week against the Huskers and the Badgers come in second in their division in the standings and they last won over Minnesota last week with a 20-7b dominating score.

Wisconsin has been one of the best rushing teams in the nation once again this season and Joel Stave has been solid at quarterback and while they can't get into the championship game, they can get into a nice bowl and they wonder what might have been had the refs not stolen a game on the schedule with Arizona State after a controversial ending, as the team only lost to Ohio State the rest of the season and have now won six games in a row heading into the finale against Penn State. The past two weeks the team has scored over 70 points and has only allowed 10 points combined and the defense has been one of the toughest in the nation, allowing just 13 points per game, including allowing under 10 points in four of the past six games.
Stave has over 2,000 yards passing while James White has over 1,281 yards rushing with 13 touchdowns and Gordon comes in with 12 scores and 1,375 yards and James Abbrederis has done his part as well with 916 yards on 61 catches with seven touchdowns. The team is ranked in the top 10 in rushing yards per game and points against and the team is ranked 94th in the nation in passing yards and 23rd in the nation in scoring with nearly 40 points per contest and the offense will need to be productive to get a win on Saturday. The Big Ten has been down a bit past Ohio State and Wisconsin, but if the Buckeyes can hold tight against the Michigan Wolverines in their huge game, they could get into the national title if someone like Alabama or Florida State loses and that could put the Badgers in a bigger game depending on how things shake out. The Penn State Nittany Lions and the Wisconsin Badgers play at 3:30 PM on ESPN Saturday.
