The New York Giants played themselves back into the playoff race with a four game winning streak and after losing to the Dallas Cowboys that could be over and now the team plays another division rival in the next matchup, as Eli Manning and company travel to FedEx Field to take on the Washington Redskins starting up at 8:30 pm on NBC and the game will be streaming live online and on the radio from the NFL.com website.
The Redskins have been a very inconsistent team this season and they are ranked first in rushing while they are 16th in passing yards per game and they will be using Alfred Morris and Robert Griffin extensively on Sunday night. The two teams are matching up for the first time this season and the defense for the Redskins has been giving up tons of yards, ranking 27th in the NFL in passing yards per game and that is where the Giants will try and attack Washington. The Redskins come in having lost three straight games and they have not been able to put together a win streak this season and Griffin has not been as good as he was last year and that has been a huge factor and he has also had his leadership and health questioned and now the solid Giants defense comes to town playing well and they have another game against them looming.

The Giants come into the game having won four times in the past five weeks, but the one game that mattered they couldn't win and now they are expected to have Hakeem Nicks back in the lineup after he missed last week and the G-Men sure could use him in the game on Sunday. The Giants won three games after taking the MNF victory against the Vikings and now they are hitting the road for the next two games against the Redskins and the Chargers. The Giants have been banged up a bit this season and heading into the game against the Redskins, the team will be without Jason Pierre-Paul, Brandon Jacobs as well as Corey Webster and that will hurt the defense as well as the running game.
Pierre-Paul has been banged up all season and Jacobs has also missed time with injuries and that makes Andre Brown a huge factor in the game on Sunday night. He has been injured since the Raiders game and with Pierre-Paul out, Cullen Jenkins will likely get more reps on the field and the secondary now is a bit thin and players like Terret Thomas and Prince Amukamara will have to step up and play well. The Eagles already won on Sunday and that puts the team in line with the Cowboys, who won on Thursday on Thanksgiving in Dallas against the Oakland Raiders and while the Giants are far out of things, they could have a chance if they win out and that starts with the Redskins game. The Skins are coming in with some pride on the line and Griffin will be looking to shut up the critics that have started to pile on him big time the past few weeks with the three game losing streak.
