The English Premier League schedule came on Wednesday with a number of exciting matchups and when it was all said and done, Arsenal remained at the top of the EPL table after their win over Hull City, while clubs like Aston Villa, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea all scored victories as well in the Barclays league.
Arsenal came in as the table leader in the Premier League and with Chelsea and Manchester City closing in, the Gunners knew they had to continue playing well and the team did just that, holding Hull City to a shutout and it was for most of the game, as the Gunners started the scoring early. The team got a score in the second minute of the match from Nicklas Bendtner and then the team scored just after the half on a shot from Mesut Özil for the 2-0 lead and that is how the match ended and now the team has their lead in the EPL table for another few days at least.
Liverpool rebounded from a disappointing loss last weekend for a win over Norwich City and the match wasn't even close, as Luis Suárez scored four goals in the matchup and the team won 5-1 to keep pace on the league table with the teams ahead. Suárez had a fantastic goal that is one of the best of the year and he got the scoring started and did not stop, as he scored four goals in a row in the match before Norwich stopped the bleeding with a goal from Bradley Johnson and then Liverpool added another goal for good measure in the 88th minute to take the matchup with five goals and they looked dominant on Wednesday.
Manchester United played a tight game with Everton and the team lost 1-0 after Bryan Oviedo scored in the 86th minute and that was a big blow, as they were heading towards a draw at least in the match.
Southampton fell at Aston Villa 3-2 after Fabian Delph scored the winning goal in the 80th minute, while Chelsea and Sunderland played an entertaining match that saw seven goals and the Blues won 4-3 on goals from Frank Lampard as well as two from Eden Hazard. Tottenham took down Fulham and that could have been a bad loss, while Swansea City rebounded with a 3-0 victory against Newcastle United.
