Joique Bell Fantasy: Reggie Bush Praises Detroit Lions RB as Value Rises in Week 14, Jim Schwartz Confident in Rotation Against Weak Eagles Defense

The offense of the Detroit Lions appears to be firing on all cylinders after their Thanksgiving throttling of the Green Bay Packers. The team looked balanced as ever as Matthew Stafford operated the unit like a magician. The Packers are not great defensively so it is not hard to see why the Lions thrived, but their remaining schedule might be even easier. Facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14, Reggie Bush thinks Detroit could have the best offense in the league.

Bush is not shy about his team's ability to dominate any defense in the league. With receivers like Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson and a running back tandem featuring  Joique Bell, the veteran pretty much believes Detroit has the best unit around. He is not wrong. The Lions rand second in the league in yards per game and fourth in the league in scoring totals. After 40-10 win over Green Bay, people are taking notice.

"I think that we feel like we can dominate just about any defense out there when we are playing well and clicking on all four cylinders," Bush said, via the Detroit Free Press. "When we are playing well as an offense, we feel like we can dominate any situation and any team."

The Lions have an offensive unit that almost never became what it is now. After losing several wide receivers to injuries this season, the Lions are lucky to have a healthy Burleson back in the lineup. Prior to the NFL Trade Deadline approaching, Bell had said he wanted out of Detroit for a team that would let him be a starter. He reportedly was tired of taking a backseat to Bush, but keeping him on the roster has giving the Lions an excellent 1-2 punch on the ground.

Things got ugly against the Packers and they could get worse against the Eagles. Philadelphia's defense is terrible. The rank dead last in passing yards allowed as opponents average 296.8 per game and they are second to last in total yards per game with 412.3. They offer up no pressure to the quarterback ranking 29th in sacks per game. These types of numbers will not help with someone like Stafford throwing to top receiver Johnson.

Bush is not overlooking the Eagles. He is well-aware the team has some strong linebackers like Trent Cole, but he believes that between he and Bell, the rushing attack should turn out just fine.

"I think both of those guys compliment each other well," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "We have good plans for both of them. Both of them have made a lot of plays and scored touchdowns for us this year."
