The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Miami Dolphins are both in the mix for the playoffs in the AFC, but Ben Roethlisberger and company need to win to stay alive and after Mike Tomlin's dance on Thanksgiving, the team will be ready to host the Fins at Heinz Field and the game will be on TV on CBS starting up at 1:00 pm and streaming online from the NFL.com website.
The Dolphins have held their own while dealing with the Jonathan Martin controversy and the Steelers come into the game after a close loss to the Ravens on Thanksgiving and the end of that game was very active, as the Steelers were able to score late, but they couldn't bring the score together and now they are trying to stay in the playoff race as they try and clinch a winning record. The Dolphins are in better position and the Steelers have some tough games ahead, including the Bengals coming up on Sunday night football next week. The Steelers come into the game ranked in the top 10 in passing yards per game and that will be the main focus for both teams on Sunday. The Steelers started the season 0-4 and they have rebounded nicely and now they will try and keep things on the right track against the Dolphins.

The team has won three of the last four games and they had previously won five of seven before losing to the Ravens and that was a tough divisional defeat and now the team still has two more division games against the NFC North on the schedule. Luckily, both those games are at home, as is the Dolphins game and that gives the Steelers three home games over the final stretch, with the Bengals game next week before playing on the road against the Green Bay Packers and then the team hosts the Cleveland Browns on the final game of the season in Week 17. The Steelers are ranked 18th in rushing yards per game and 11th in passing defense and while the rushing game has been terrible, ranked 31st in the league, Le'Veon Bell has shown some great talent for the Steelers.
The Dolphins come into the matchup ranked ninth in passing yards allowed per game and that will have to come into play on Sunday against the Steelers and the team also needs to do a better job rushing the ball. Last week against the Jets was a dominating victory for the Dolphins, but that was likely more about how terrible the Jets and Geno Smith are and now they take on the Steelers before playing against the New England Patriots next week and that is a huge divisional matchup. Last week the Dolphins got over 300 yards from Ryan Tannehill and 127 yards from Brian Hartline, while Lamar Miller had 72 yards rushing in the game. The team has alternated wins and losses over the past five weeks and now the team has three straight divisional games to finish the season after the Steelers, playing against the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and then against the Jets at home to end the season.
