NFL News and Rumors: Titans Could Cut Chris Johnson and Jake Locker and Chase Jay Cutler As Free Agent In 2014

The Tennessee Titans suffered another tough loss on Sunday against the Denver Broncos and heading into the offseason some big chances could be coming, as Chris Johnson and Jake Locker could be gone after this season and the team could be chasing Jay Cutler as their new quarterback for 2014.

The report before Sunday's game from Pro Football Talk wrote that Johnson and Locker could be done along with coach Mike Munchak and the team could go after Cutler, who previously played in the state in college at Vanderbilt. The team has been frustrated with Johnson's play and his huge contract and that is one reason why he could be done and the team has felt the same about the development of Locker, especially with his injuries starting to pile up.

Bud Adams' son in law is making more decisions and the team could go for a big splash with Cutler, who would add some excitement to the franchise. The report says that NFL.com is reporting that the owners are not happy about the performance of the team and that big changed are coming, especially with Johnson, as the team feels he has not played up to the contract he signed after making a big stink about how much he deserved to get paid.

The team is now 5-8 this season and ranked 15th in the league in rushing yards per game and the team has lost four of the past five games this season and are looking at missing the playoffs again.
