Dec 22, 2013 08:28 PM EST

The Chicago Bears are coming into the Sunday night football game on NBC in Week 16 of the season with the chance to win their division and the Philadelphia Eagles come in with plenty on the line as well and the matchup has two teams in the NFC looking to get into the postseason and it could be a tough offensive game.

The Bears have been playing very well under new head coach Marc Trestman and Matt Forte has been putting up some of the best stats of his career and Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery have been the best WR duo in the league. Jay Cutler is back under center and the Eagles have Nick Foles playing very well and he has just two picks this season with over 20 touchdowns and he looks like the quarterback of the future and while the Eagles have technically nothing to play for, the Bears can win the division and lock up a playoff spot with a win.

The Bears are coming off of a win against the Cleveland Browns and the Eagles come into the game after giving up nearly 50 points against the Minnesota Vikings and Adrian Peterson missed that game and this could be a big offensive performance.

Here is some news from earlier in the season and fantasy football advice for keepers and players to check out for next season now that the playoffs are over. The fantasy football season is moving along towards the playoffs in most leagues and that means fantasy owners will be looking for some of the best players to pick up and at the wide receiver position there are planet of options, including Michael Floyd, Keenan Allen, Tavon Austin, Rod Streater, Nate Burleson, Harry Douglas, Brandon LaFell as well as Jarrett Boykin and Jerricho Cotchery.

Allen has been one of the top surprises in the NFL this season among rookies and one reason why he has been able to get so much action is due to the fact that the Chargers have been dealing with injuries at the receiver position with Danario Alexander and Malcom Floyd going down and he has been able to produce in the offense with Philip Rivers. Allen is coming off of a three catch game against the Miami Dolphins, but he has been producing recently, putting up over 100 yards in two of his previous four games and he also has two touchdowns in that span.

Rod Streater has been solid in each of the past five games apart from the one against the Giants, but that was more about the New York defense and the injury to Terrelle Pryor, who has been banged up for a few weeks. The team will continue to look at Streater, as he has at least six targets in four of the past five games and he had five catches for 98 yards against the Eagles for his best game in that stretch. The game a few weeks ago against the Chiefs saw him get targeted seven times and against the Steelers he had four catches for 45 yards in another solid game.

Harry Douglas is coming off of a great game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that saw him score a touchdown on an 80-yard catch and he also had six catches in the game for 134 yards with an impressive 10 targets. Douglas had 18 targets against the Cardinals three weeks ago with 12 catches for 121 yards and his best game in the past five weeks was against the Bucs the first time at home when he had seven catches on that many targets for 149 yards and a score with a long catch of 54-yards and now he should continue being the top deep threat for the Falcons as the season goes forward.

Lions wideout Nate Burleson had nine targets in the game against Washington and he had over 100 yards for the first time on the season and it came after he increased his targets in each of the previous two games. Burleson had seven catches on eight targets for 45 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in a loss that looks much better now that the season has developed and that came after his six catch for 78 yard performance in the opening win against the Minnesota Vikings. Burleson could be a nice pickup for fantasy owners, as he is available in nearly all ESPN leagues and while Calvin Johnson will always be the number one guy, Burleson could be a very good second or third WR starter.
