The Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles are playing on Sunday night football on NBC for Week 17 of the season and the game is for the NFC East division title and is the third year in a row that the Boys are playing for the title and they will be without Tony Romo in the game at AT&T Stadium and it will be Kyle Orton under center and the matchup starts at 8:30 pm and streaming online from the NFL.com league website.
The Cowboys come into the game with their defense playing terribly, but it was good enough to win against the Washington Redskins last week on a last minute play by Romo, but he now will be out of the lineup on Sunday night and it will be Orton taking over and that is another tough thing that the team must overcome to make the playoffs. The Cowboys have missed out over the past few years and jobs could be on the line and the Dallas defense has to deal with one of the most productive offenses in the league, as Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy have put up some amazing numbers this year under new head coach Chip Kelly, including Foles starting the season with 19 touchdowns and zero picks. Kelly has helped turn the team around from a rough start and they are in position to make the playoffs with a first year head coach and that will be the final spot for the NFC after the Packers won over the Bears.

The Eagles come into the game playing very well, having won six of their last seven games leading into Week 17 and that included a five game winning streak and they come into the game with confidence, as they beat the Chicago Bears badly last weekend with a 54-11 game in a matchup where they had nothing to play for and now the Dallas defense must find a way to stop the Eagles. The Cowboys defense is ranked near the bottom of the league in both rushing and passing yards per game allowed this season and they gave up a ton of yards to the Packers in that tough comeback loss and now they face a huge challenge with Kelly and his offense, as they are ranked in the top 10 overall and in passing and rushing yards per game.
