The UCLA Bruins and Virginia Tech Hokies are playing a CBS College Football game on New Year's Eve on Tuesday and the matchup will be from the Sun Bowl in El Paso and the matchup has two high scoring teams going at each other and the game is streaming online and is on TV starting up at 2 pm and the game gives the Bruins a chance to get double digit wins for the season.
The Bruins have quarterback Brett Hundley at the helm and he is the main reason for their success and he has been one of the most productive players in the nation and he has combined to score over 30 touchdowns and he will be the focus of Virginia Tech in the game on Tuesday. The Bruins have not won 10 games in nearly a decade and Hundley can help make that happen and while Jim More seems content in California, he has been mentioned in numerous jobs and this could be his last game and possibly the last for Hundley as well and the Bruins come in ranked 17th in the nation and are looking to finish in the top 25 for the season.
The Hokies have been playing well to finish the season and they have one of the top defenses, as they were first in their conference in sacks in the ACC and the team has been excellent against the run as well. The Hokies finished the season winning two of the final three games and the one game they lost was in overtime against Maryland and the team won over a top 15 team in Miami and they started off the season 6-1 and the team comes in ranked eighth in the nation in scoring defense with 17 points per contest and the offense has been solid as well with nearly 25 points per game and now they have the chance to finish the season on a high note.

Hundley is a dual threat and the Hokies will have to watch out for him on the ground and in the air and he comes in after leading the Bruins to a win over their rivals in the USC Trojans and he rushed for 80 yards in that game and had over 250 total in the victory. The Bruins have had trouble on the offensive line and that could be an issue on Tuesday, the Hokies have a great defensive front and the prime objective for UCLA will be to protect their QB to let him work his magic. Logan Thomas will be facing off against Hundley and he has been very solid as well and during his last two bowl games he has three touchdowns and 400 yards and now he will be up against an athletic defense in the Bruins.
