Jan 04, 2014 03:16 PM EST

The NFL Wild Card schedule is here this weekend and the NFC game is starting up at the time of 8:10 pm no the NBC TV channel and the New Orleans Saints will be visiting the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night from Lincoln Financial Field for the first game on the NFC side and it has the number six seed taking on the number three after Philly won the NFC East division title.

The Eagles and Saints come in with double digit wins and the two teams are offensive leaders in the league in yards and points per game, with Drew Brees helping New Orleans Saints in the top part of the conference in passing yards per game. Nick Foles has been nearly as good for the Eagles as Brees has been for the Saints in a limited schedule and he started his season with nearly 20 touchdowns before throwing his first pick and he finished with just two turnovers this season on picks and 27 touchdowns passing. The Eagles come into the game with the top rushing offense in the league and the leading running back by yards with LeSean McCoy and they have a top 10 ranked offense and could be trouble for the Saints D on the road.

New Orleans has some issues playing on the road and with the game coming at 8 pm, the weather could be very tough and that will play a factor on Saturday night and the Eagles have defensive issues of their own, as they ranked last in the league in passing yards allowed per game by the end of the season. Brees passed for over 5,000 yards yet again this season and he has plenty of weapons to pick from, with tight end Jimmy Graham being the best of the bunch and he will be a matchup nightmare for the Eagles.

Philly comes into the game after winning the NFC East championship game against the Cowboys and now Dallas has been eliminated from playoff contention in Week 17 for the third straight season. The team went 10-6 in the first year for Chip Kelly and the team went 4-2 in the division and 9-3 against the NFC overall. The Saints come into the game ranked second in the league in passing yards and passing yards allowed per game this season and they are coming into the postseason with an 11-5 record and 5-1 against the NFC South, that one game being the one they needed to win against the Panthers. The team also went 9-3 against the NFC and now they face the Eagles on the road and Graham comes in with over 1,200 yards this season and he will be the primary target for Brees on Saturday night.
