NFC Playoffs Schedule: Seattle Seahawks Play New Orleans Saints Saturday After Win Over Eagles As Packers or 49ers Winner Against Panthers

Jan 05, 2014 12:07 AM EST

The New Orleans Saints won their first road playoff game in dramatic fashion, as Shayne Graham kicked a last second field goal to win the game on Saturday night against the Philadelphia Eagles in Philly and the matchup at Lincoln Financial Field saw the sixth seed win, meaning the Seattle Seahawks will be playing the Saints next Saturday January 11 in a playoffs rematch and the winners of the Packers and 49ers game will be playing against the Panthers on Sunday.

The games on Sunday for wild card weekend has the Green Bay Packers hosting the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field and the matchup will be on Fox as the late game at 4:35 pm and the matchup will be played in the bitter cold. The San Diego Chargers are playing against the Cincinnati Bengals in the early game on CBS and the winner of that game will dictate who the Indianapolis Colts play next week, whether it will be the Denver Broncos or the Indianapolis Colts and obviously that would be an amazing matchup with Peyton Manning.

Drew Brees had another solid game with 250 yards passing and Mark Ingram ran hard with Pierre Thomas out and the team got 97 yards from him on just 18 carries and now they have finally won their first road game in the playoffs after losing the last five and now they have a chance to go into Seattle and win, something they could not do this season in the regular season and something they could not do a few years ago in the playoffs when the Hawks came in with a losing record and now that rematch will be the prime matchup of the playoffs next week.

The NFC side of things is clear now with the Saints winning over the Eagles and the team was down 24-23 when they kicked the winning field goal and Graham had three field goals in the game and the matchup next week in Seattle comes after the team lost 34-7 last time they played during the regular season at CenturyLink Field.

The Saints won the game on a last second field goal and the Philadelphia Eagles had no chance to get the ball back and the team won by two points and now is through to the next round after winning on the road and they will play against the Seattle Seahawks in the next round in the playoffs, as they are the lowest seed and it sets up a rematch of a Monday night football game this season and a postseason game from a few years ago and that matchup could be amazing after the Saints got their first road playoff win. Here is a look at the game from Reuters.com. The New Orleans Saints beat the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles 26-24 in the wild card playoff round on Saturday for their first playoff victory on the road in their history.

Shayne Graham kicked a 32-yard field goal for the winning score as the clock hit zero less than five minutes after the Eagles had taken a 24-23 lead on a three-yard touchdown pass from Nick Foles to tight end Zach Ertz.

Drew Brees completed 20 of 30 passes for 250 yards and a touchdown, while Mark Ingram ran for 97 yards on 18 carries for New Orleans.

New Orleans, who had lost all five of their previous road playoff games since joining the National Football League in 1967, will travel to Seattle to play the top-seeded NFC West champion Seahawks next week.
