Oakland Raiders Rumors: Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater Mock Draft Options After Brett Hundley Staying At UCLA With Terrelle Pryor Likely Released?

The Oakland Raiders have another very high draft pick after going 4-12 for the second straight season and with questions about both Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin at quarterback, the team could draft a young star like Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles or Teddy Bridgewater, but one player they won't take is Brett Hundley, as the Bruins star will remain at UCLA for another season.

The Raiders are heading into the offseason with a number of questions at various positions and one of those is at quarterback and with the signing of Trent Edwards, it could mean that Matt McGloin or Terrelle Pryor could eventually be released. The Raiders have the fifth pick after being in the top five last season and they traded out of that with the Miami Dolphins and they selected DJ Hayden after moving down and that is one reason why many expect the team to pick someone from the offensive side of the ball and with names like Manziel and Bridgewater possibly available to them or in a trade, it could make things very active at the top, as the Houston Texans have already said they are willing to listen to offers for the top overall pick.

Pryor and McGloin split time this season and looked good in stretches, but neither took hold of the starting job and for Dennis Allen and Reggie McKenzie, they may feel the franchise quarterback is in the draft right now. The team has some young talent in Denarius Moore, Marcel Reece and Mychal Rivera and adding a top quarterback to that mix could mean big changes ahead. According to Pro Football Talk, Hundley may have been a name in the mix for teams looking at quarterbacks, but he has decided to stay at UCLA after the team played in the Sun Bowl and he joins Marcus Mariota as two star quarterbacks in the Pac-12 conference that will be staying in school.

ESPN.com reported the news first and it comes after Hundley completed nearly 70 percent of his passes for over 3,000 yards and he also tossed 26 touchdowns and he is an athletic quarterbac, rushign for nearly 750 yards and 11 scores on the season. Derek Carr is another name that could come up after the way he played for Fresno State and Manziel or Bridgewater could be the top two quarterbacks off the board, while Bortles is a player that is moving up draft boards.

Edwards signed with the team this past week after previously being a draft pick in the third round for the Buffalo Bills back in 2007 and it comes full circle, as he was previously the quarterback at Stanford in the Bay Area and Edwards could be key for next season. The Raiders may take a young player to develop and Edwards could start the season as a starter or compete in training camp and depending on what the Raiders try to do, they could draft another young QB.
