The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan State Spartans are playing in one of the most anticipated college basketball games on the schedule on Tuesday night, as the top ranked teams will face off at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center starting up at 9 pm and on TV from ESPN and streaming online from the WatchESPN website as number three OSU and number five MSU face off.
These two teams played in the Big Ten championship game on the football side of things and that game was won by MSU, who went on to defeat Stanford in the Rose Bowl and now OSU will try and get some revenge for their football brothers. The Buckeyes ended up losing in the Orange Bowl to Clemson, so the basketball team now has the chance to get some of that back and it comes before MSU plays against Minnesota on the schedule. The Big Ten schedule has already started up and these two teams are both 2-0 and that means someone is leaving with a conference loss on Tuesday night and the number five Spartans hope it's the Buckeyes, who come into the game undefeated at 15-0, while MSU is 13-1 on the season.
Michigan State is coming into the game after an nice win against Indiana and that came after the team opened up against Penn State and now they will have their home Big Ten opener against Ohio State. The Buckeyes come into the game undefeated and they won their games against Purdue and Nebraska and now they face off against Michigan State on the road before games against ranked Iowa, Minnesota and then Nebraska again. The team also has matchups against Illinois and Wisconsin and they finish the season against Michigan State at home.
