Okay people. Mark your calendars, set your alarms and get your babysitters ready, the NBA released the Finals schedule earlier today.
Since the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder had better records during the regular season, the West will host the Finals. The schedule returns to the classical 2-3-2 format, where the home team hosts the first two games, followed by three road games and they return home for Games 6 and 7.
The Finals tipoff on Tuesday, June 12th at 9 PM EDT. Fans will not have basketball for a day as Game 2 is scheduled for Thursday June 14th at 9 PM. Then they go on a two-day break and Game 3 returns on Sunday June 17th, this time at 8 PM. Game 4 is Tuesday, June 19th also at 8PM.
If necessary, Game 5 will be on June 21st, on a Thursday at 8 PM. Both, Games 6 and 7 would follow at 9 PM on Sunday June 24th and Tuesday June 26th.
An easier way to remember the schedule; once the Conference Finals are decided, there will only be basketball on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Tune into ABC to watch all the games.
