The English Premier League schedule picks up on Saturday after a nice little break from the holiday matches and Chelsea will be taking on Hull City at the Kingston Communications Stadium and the match will be starting up as the early one on Saturday at 7:45 am ET for the EPL matchup and has the Blues coming in looking to get to the top of the table.

Chelsea comes into the matchup after a convincing win in the FA Cup over Derby and before that the team got two very nice wins against Southampton and Liverpool and that win against the Reds was very impressive and before that the team won over Swansea City. The last match the team played in the EPL and did not win was that draw against Arsenal that went scoreless at the Emirates and that match led into the Christmas and New Year's schedule and now that it's 2014, Chelsea will be looking to move up the table even more to challenge Arsenal.

Looking ahead, the club has a chance to get some nice results, as they play three of their next four EPL matches at Stamford Bridge and four of the next five, which includes the FA Cup fourth round against Stoke City as well as a road matchup at the Etihad against Manchester City and that will have an effect on the top of the league table as well. Chelsea later plays Arsenal at Stamford Bridge and that match comes after the team opens UEFA Champions League play against Galatasaray and in between the team has matches with Tottenham and Aston Villa.

The Saturday schedule has Hull City and Chelsea starting up the day early and the 10 am matches has Cardiff City and West Ham playing as well as Southampton and West Brom and one entertaining match would be Tottenham taking on Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane. The Everton and Fulham matches against Norwich and Sunderland are also at 10 am, while the late match of the day will be Manchester United and Swansea City at Old Trafford. The club can't afford to lose another match at home and then on Sunday has Newcastle United taking on Manchester City, while Stoke City and Liverpool play next and then on Monday it finished with arsenal and Aston Villa, so that means the league table may have a new leader for a short time.
