The story for Kansas has been the emergence of freshman Wayne Selden Jr. who put up 24 points, hitting 5 of 10 3-point shots, while Perry Ellis added 22 points. The team has been making up for that fact that star Andrew Wiggins has been struggling with his shot for the second-straight game. He was held to single digits in points for the second time this season while shooting 32.8 percent from the floor.
The Wildcats have their own freshman looking like a star in the making. Marcus Foster is shooting 51.6 percent from the floor while averaging 16.0 points per game in his last three matchups. His consistency will come in handy against the Jayhawks. Thomas Gibson will asset after scoring a season-high 19 points against Oklahoma State.
