The Orlando Magic have been one of the worst teams in the eastern conference this season and that has led to speculation that the team may deal Arron Afflalo, Jameer Nelson or Glen Davis at the trading deadline and some teams that could be interested includes the NY Knicks, Toronto Raptors or Sacramento Kings.
The Magic have been mentioned as a team that could get involved in some three way deals at the deadline and now ESPN.com is reporting that Afflalo may be staying put. The Magic have received interest in Afflalo, as he is their best and most consistent player on offense, but the team has been reluctant to move him and the better he plays, the better chance that a team will offer a high pick for him. The Toronto Raptors are one team that could be interested according to Grantland.com and that comes after many expected the team to tank this season, but they have been playing well since dealing Rudy Gay.
While teams are interested in Afflalo, both Davis and Nelson have also been looked at as target and they might end up moving before anything happens with Afflalo. The Magic are going to make moves based on the compensation they get in return and while they are a bad team, they won't just give away those players, especially to teams in the east. The Magic are coming into their Monday game against the Mavs after losing bad on the road to the Nuggets and they next play the Bulls are ranked 24th in the league in scoring.
