The Boston Celtics pulled off one of the first big moves in the NBA in 2014 with a three-way deal involving the Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors and now the team could be looking at what's next and some moves may include Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger, Kris Humphries or Keith Bogans.
The Celtics have long been considered to be one of the most active teams at the trading deadline this season because of how bad the team is and with Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens rebuilding, many in the league expect the team to try and ditch a number of high priced veterans into the summer. The Celtics have been stocking up draft picks and now Ainge has more picks over the next two years than the Knicks and the Nets have combined over the next five years and that in itself is INSANE.
The Celtics pulled off a deal on Wednesday in a three-team move with the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors and that deal moved a number of players, as Jordan Crawford and MarShon Brooks are now headed to the Warriors, while Joel Anthony is coming to Boston and Toney Douglas is going to Miami. All three teams got what they wanted in the deal and now Rajon Rondo looks to be making his comeback soon, as the Celtics put him with their D-League team to start workouts.
The Celtics added Anthony and it helps the Heat save money and in the deal the team also got another pick from the Heat and the move for Crawford sends a player who was averaging 13.7 points and 5.7 assists in 39 games. The Celtics are expected to continue making moves getting closer to the deadline.
