The NBA schedule for Friday has some prime time matchups and it starts with the New York Knicks taking on the Los Angeles Clippers at Madison Square Garden and comes after the team got blown out by the Indiana Pacers and now they will be back in action along with the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets for the schedule on Friday.
The Clippers and Knicks start things off with a nationally televised game on Friday night on ESPN and that comes before the later matchup with the Warriors and the Thunder in Oklahoma City. The Charlotte Bobcats are playing against the Orlando Magic, while the Miami Heat will be playing in Philly against the 76ers and tipping off at the same time, the Timberwolves play in Canada against the Raptors, while the Chicago Bulls will visit the Washington Wizards. The Los Angeles Lakers are playing against the Boston Celtics and that game will be at the Garden at 7:30 pm, while the Utah Jazz and Pistons are playing in Detroit at the same time. The Sacramento Kings and the Memphis Grizzlies are playing in the only 8 pm and that comes before a matchup of two of the top teams in the west.
The Portland Trail Blazers and the San Antonio Spurs are playing in a matchup of two of the top teams in the west and all of the NBA and that game is the only one to tip off at 8:30 pm and that comes before the matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Denver Nuggets at 9 pm and that game is the same time as the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns and that comes before the ESPN game with the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Knicks come into the game after being blown out against the Indiana Pacers and that comes before a Monday matchup with the Brooklyn Nets and that will be at Madison Square Garden and the team is just 15-24 this season and while they had a nice winning streak the last couple weeks, they need to get back on track after the Pacers loss. The team expected to be a contender in the east this season and now they are looking to just make it into the playoffs. The team is ranked 25th in the league in scoring and 10th in defense and a win against the Clippers would be a nice start to getting back on track.
