The English Premier League table has Arsenal in first place and they lead Manchester City and Chelsea in the EPL standings heading into play on Monday and after the results on Sunday and it comes as the Blues defeated Manchester United at Stamford Bridge and they got three goals in the match from Samuel Eto'o and now they are in good position heading into next week in the EPL standings.
Sunday play saw Chelsea win 3-1 over Man U and it was a tough loss for Manchester at Stamford Bridge and that came after the early match saw Swansea City lose at home against Tottenham Hotspur after two goals from Emmanuel Adebayor. The Table is tight at the top and now the Gunners are in first place after winning on Saturday and they are up on top of Manchester City and Chelsea remains in third place after their positive result and Liverpool is in fourth position ahead of Everton and Tottenham played well on Sunday and now they are in sixth place ahead of Manchester United and Man U stays in position now in seventh and they are ahead of Newcastle and Southampton.
The matches on Saturday started up with a draw between Sunderland and Southampton after goals from Adam Johnson and Jay Rodriguez and then Arsenal took Fulham 2-0 to stay on top of the league table with two goals from Santi Cazorla in the second half. The Gunners have been playing very well and they remain in first place in the Barclays EPL and the other matches on the day includes Crystal Palace getting a win against Stoke City at home and Manchester City played very well at the Etihad and they won 4-2 against Cardiff and they got goals from Yaya Toure and Jesus Navas.
Norwich City won over Hull and West Ham United lost to Newcastle after two goals from Yohan Cabaye and in the late game on Saturday, Liverpool pulled even with Aston Villa at the Anfield with goals from Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard. Monday finishes the week schedule with west Brom and Everton playing and then on Tuesday next week things pick up with a full schedule of Manchester United, Norwich, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton all in action and then on Wednesday there is Manchester City and Tottenham in the late match with Chelsea also in action.
