The Australian Open has been a grand slam of upsets and while that hasn't yet extended to Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray is now out after losing to Roger Federer, while defending champions Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka are both done and now the seminfinals on the men's side has Federer taking on Nadal with Tomas Berdych and Stanislas Wawrinka on the other side.
Nadal won over Grigor Dimitrov in four sets after dropping the first set and he was tough as he won the middle two sets in tie breakers before finishing up 6-2 in the fourth. Murray couldn't get over the hump against Federer and Nadal had a rough go of it at times as well.

Roger Federer and Andy Murray are playing in the 2014 Australian Open quarterfinals and the match will put the winner in the semifinals and on the other side of the draw it's Tomas Berdych and Stanislas Wawrinka after Novak Djokovic lost and now on the men's and women's die there will be new champions at the grand slam down under in Melbourne.
The match gives Federer a chance to get back to a grand slam semi and Murray is working on a comeback from back surgery and has been looking much better. The Australian Open is shaping up to be a slam of upsets and has Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka and Djokovic out of things and now a player like Murray or Federer will be gone as well. Djokovic hadn't lost at the tournament since back in 2010 and he was coming in as a three time champion in a row and now there will be a new champ.
Murray and Federer are facing off on Wednesday and they will face off against the winner of the other quarters.
