The NBA schedule is light on Thursday with just a TNT doubleheader with the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Miami Heat and LeBron James and the Portland Trail Blazers hosting the Denver Nuggets and before the games tip off, the NBA All-Star team rosters will be revealed.
The Lakers are playing against the Heat in Miami at the American Airlines Arena at 8 pm and the Nuggets are visiting the Blazers away from Denver in Portland at the Moda Center and the matchups on Thursday feature two of the best teams in the NBA.
The Blazers have been one of the most surprising teams in the league this season and they are just a game and a half out in the western conference from the top seed with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs. In the east, the Miami Heat are looked at as strong favorites again and they are four games back of the Indiana Pacers, who have lost just one game at home this season. The Nuggets are 20-20 and just out of the playoffs, while the Lakers are way out of things and fading with their injuries.
