The NBA All-Star game rosters and starting lineups were announced on TNT on Thursday night for the game that will be February 16 and the leaders were LeBron James and Kevin Durant for the east and west and the starters have James, Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Curry, Kevin Love, Paul George as well as Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard.
A number of players made their first All-Star game, including Curry and Love in the starting lineup along with George and Irving and in the east James and Wade join Carmelo Anthony and Irving, who is one of the starting guards in the game. Kobe Bryant was voted in despite being injured and playing in just six games this season and Kevin Love continued his ascension as one of the best players in the league.
The All-Star game rosters and starting lineups did not have much surprise and coming into the day on Thursday, a number of top names were leading in their respective positions, including names like James, Durant as well as Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Paul George and Blake Griffin and those players likely will be starting. Coming into the week before, a number of injured players had votes too, as Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose and Chris Paul are all banged up, but they are all also top five leaders in the front or back courts of their respective conferences.
