Jerry Seinfeld has been in the news over the past few weeks after making an appearance at the classic Tom's Restaurant with Jason Alexander as George Costanza and after appearing on the Boomer and Carton show on the radio, Jerry alluded to a new short video project that could reunite the cast, including Kramer and Elaine and it's possible it is a Super Bowl commercial for the XLVIII game.
According to Variety.com and EW.com, Seinfeld said on the radio that the group would be reuniting for a video of "sorts", but that the project is not a webisode or an episode of his show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." Seinfeld said it was a "secret" project and that it wouldn't be for the "big game" on Sunday, but that could be just a way to get people to stop paying attention and surprise them.
Jerry and Jason Alexander were seen earlier this month at Tom Restaurant and cameras could be seen filming something, but no one is sure what it is, who is involved and when it will air. Seinfeld is the greatest comedy sitcom of all-time and while the cast has reunited already, with Larry David bringing the main four back for a storyline about a reunion on his show "Curb Your Enthusiasm", there hasn't been a legitimate reunion of the characters before and this could be it.
