The Missouri Tigers and the Florida Gators are playing on Tuesday night in an ESPN college basketball matchup and the game will be live from the Stephen C. O'Connell Center at 9 pm and streaming live from the WatchESPN website for the SEC conference game and comes as the Gators are the number three team in the nation under Billy Donovan and looking to continue undefeated in conference play this season.
Florida comes into the game after winning huge over Texas A&M and the team set a mark by allowing just 36 points from the Aggies and now they face the Tigers before playing against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday at home. The Gators are averaging over 70 points per game and while they rank just 191st in the nation, the team is ranked in the top 10 in points allowed per game and they are shooting over 45 percent from the field. The team is looking as strong as they have in the past few years under Billy Donovan and the Gators could make a run this year in the NCAA and the SEC and right now they are looking like the better team over Kentucky in the standings.
The Gators have won 13 games in a row and they have some tough games coming up, including four of five games on the road after playing Bama, including Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn and Ole Miss before playing at Vanderbilt. The finals stretch of the schedule has LSU, South Carolina and Kentucky and that matchup will end the season and should be one of the best of the season. Mizzou is 4-4 in the conference this season and they have played well for stretches, but they come in after a loss and now face a very tough team in the Gators. The team is ranked sixth in the nation in scoring with 57 points allowed per game and they have played well up front and on the wings, getting seven steals per game and three blocks and the team is two up on the Wildcats and now they have the chance to push the lead even more.
