The Winter Olympics is in full swing and the curling is live from Sochi starting up at 12 am ET and streaming online from NBC and the round robin continues and it will be Canada against Norway, Sweden matching up against China, while the United States is taking on Germany and it comes after team USA snapped and 0-5 streak with a win against Denmark.
The US won on Wednesday in Russia and followed a combined 0-5 men's and women's record at the games and this time around against Denmark, the team won 9-5 and ESPN.com reported that five of those points came from steals. The team performed much better on Wednesday and came back after falling behind 3-0 and in other results, China played well and finished over Switzerland and Germany and they had four straight wins, while Sweden was 3-1 after losing to Denmark and now Norway comes in against Canada at the Ice Cube Curling Center.
Canada is looking to win their third straight championship at the Olympics and they are coming in after losing to Russia and the Chinese team has been the most surprising after a close win against the Swiss and they also won handily over the Germans. The curling competition is one of the most popular winter games events and now Canada will be looking to stay on track, while the United States and Germany will do battle on Thursday.
