The NBA Trade Rumors are heating up and heading into the Thursday deadline and teams like the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets are expected to be active teams at the trading date.
The Celtics have long been rumored that they will move Rajon Rondo, or somebody and after the Kings, Raptors and Knicks showed interest, reports came out that the team would accept two first round picks for him, but that was the asking price. The team could trade players like Brandon Bass, Kris Humphries or Gerald Wallace, while names like Avery Bradley or Jeff Green could also move. The Celtics are in rebuilding mode and like everyone else they want draft picks and they are likely to keep Rondo despite all the rumored moves.
The Knicks are a team that is expected to try to be active, but with the way their salary cap and player situation is, it might be tough. The team doesn't have draft picks to work with and they have been connected with a boatload of players, including Jeff Teague, Rondo as well as Kyle Lowry. The team has been rumored to like Jeremy Lin again and they also could use Iman Shumpert, Raymond Felton or Tim Hardaway in various deals.
The Denver Nuggets have Andre Miller and Kenneth Faried and those are their biggest trade chips, while the Sixers have Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young to move. It could be an active deadline...or not.
