Dwight Howard said he believes 2014 is Houston's time and he might be right. Right now, the Rockets are dominating the league as they ride high on an eight game win streak heading into their matchup against the Golden State Warriors. It is the team's longest win streak since they went on a 22-game run back in 2007. They hope to keep the momentum alive as they face the Warriors in a conference matchup.

James Harden got the best of Golden State the first time these two teams played one another. He is averaging a team-best 6.2 3-point attempts. In the first two games, he averaged 30.0 points off 50.0 percent shooting as the Rockets got the win the both times. However, Stephen Curry is not looking to be out done. He averaged 21.0 points, but only managed 38.5 percent shooting while committing 14 turnovers.

On top of Harden, Dwight Howard is playing a role in dominating Golden State. The center is averaging 20.0 points and 14.5 rebounds in the series while shooting 71.4 percent overall. He is poised to put up even more numbers in this game since Andrew Bogut is out with a shoulder injury. Andre Iguodala will be available this time around and plans to be a big defensive presence against the two shooters.

The Warriors are coming off a win against Sacramento where David Lee recorded his third-straight double-double. He ranked eighth in the league with 28 on the season. The Warriors will get a boost as Steve Blake is expected to make his debut with the club. Golden State acquired him in a trade before the deadline. Blake and Jordan Crawford will compete to play backup to Curry.
