The team is on a hot streak right now as they look for their fifth straight win to keep their No. 23 ranking together. The Stanford Cardinals look to pull an upset at home.
UCLA has managed to pull within one game of Arizona after the Cardinals have gone 3-2 in their last five games. Meanwhile, the Bruins have won seven of their last eight games and have already defeated Stanford once before earlier in the season. UCLA is done playing Arizona for the season so the Bruins' fate rests in the what they can control. The Bruins will be playing four of their six games on the road, making things difficult for the team.
The Bruins offense is operating on all cylinders. During their win streak, they have defeated each opponent by double digits while their offense ranks in the top ten averaging 83.2 points per game. They currently lead the conference in 3-point shooting at 40.9 percent while putting up 50.7 percent during the streak.
Several players have had career-high games recently. Tony Parker put up 22 points in his first meeting with Stanford, the game that started the streak. Kyle Anderson aded another 13 points and 10 assists. Anderson is on the verge of cementing himself in Bruins history. He can become the first UCLA player since Bill Walton to average 10-5-5 in every game. He looks to have yet another strong game against the Cardinals to make it happen.
Stanford is inconsistent at best. They are looking for their third-straight win. The team has put together a few poor shooting performances, but hope a home game will help get them back on track. UCLA has won 13 of their last 15 games against Arizona and are not looking to end the streak now.
