Manchester United is working on a comeback after a rough start to the season across all competitions and after bringing on Juan Mata and signing Wayne Rooney to an extension, the club is locking up another player in Tomas Rosicky, as a verbal agreement has been reached.
According to ESPNFC.com, the Gunners have Rosicky have come to a verbal agreement, as the contract for the Czech star is up this summer and now that appears to be happening. Manager Arsene Wenger has spoken about bringing back Rosicky already this season and after the news about Rooney came out, Wenger said that there would be more moves coming in the future.
Rosicky has been with the club since back in 2006 and Wenger expected him to remain past the summer and he put an exclamation on that point, as he scored a goal last Saturday against Sunderland. The midfielder is expected to remain with the team and he has been a key part of the Gunners attack this season.
"Tomas Rosicky will stay," Wenger told reporters. "We have an agreement with him and it will come out soon. I am absolutely adamant he has to stay at the club."
