The Golden State Warriors and Detroit Pistons are playing on Monday night in an NBA game on at 7:30 pm ET and streaming from the League Pass website and it will be live from the Palace of Auburn Hills and comes as the Warriors are sixth in the west and coming off of a home win against the Brooklyn Nets.
The team is 34-22 this season and they are in the mix in the conference and they hit the road for a trip against the Pistons on Monday before playing against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Wednesday and they come into the game second in the league in rebounding. The team is ranked in the top 10 in all major categories with 103 points per game to ranked 10th, while they are also ninth in team defense with 98 points allowed per game and they are in the top 10 in assists per game as well.
Stephen Curry is having a great season and Mark Jackson has pulled the team out of a bit of a slump and now they are looking to beat up on some eastern conference opponents in this road trip. The Pistons are coming into the game after a loss to the Mavericks and while they are having a tough season they are not out of things in the eastern conference and they next play against the San Antonio Spurs on the road on Wednesday and they come into the game scoring 100 points per game. The Pistons come into the game with the eighth ranked rebounding unit with big men in Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond and they are 25th in points allowed per game.
The Pistons are right on the outside of the top eight in the east and if they were in the west it would be impossible to get back into it and while they have fired their head coach, they could still make the playoffs. The Knicks are trying to do the same.
