Manchester United is in action this week in the Champions League and as that goes on Tuesday, Bayern Munich has said they will not sell Toni Kroos in regards to news reports that David Moyes is going after him following the Wayne Rooney extension and Juan Mata move earlier this year.
According to ESPNFC.com, Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer said to reporters that the team will not entertain a sale for Kroos despite any interest from Manchester United and he also added that the team could go after Draxler, who has been getting plenty of attention. The midfielder is signed through 2015 and he is looking for a bit of a raise with the way he has played and this comes after Bayern Munich won their first match in this round against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
Some reports from the Daily Mail have Moyes and United looking to get Kroos, but his club says they will not let that happen and manager Pep Guardiola said he hopes that his midfielder will stay. Bayern Munich remains in the mix for Draxler as well and this comes after Arsenal went after him last month and now the defending champions could be the ones to sign him,
"We value Toni. We have underlined that several times," Sammer said. "Toni is under contract until the summer of 2015. Until then nothing will change. And we try hard to make him stay beyond that."
