NBA Finals: Thunder Beat Heat in Game 1

Jun 12, 2012 11:44 PM EDT

The Oklahoma City are turning this into a habit. They came back to defeat the Miami Heat 105-94 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

They trailed Game 1 by as many as 13 in the first half, but went into the third quarter only down by seven.

Thabo Sefolosha  transformed the defense and caused the Miami Heat to struggle.

Once the crowd got into it, it was impossible to take them out.

They took the lead with seconds left in the third and went on a quick run to open the second half.

With three minutes left in the fourth, they took a double digit lead.

The Miami Heat began the game on fire. They made six threes in the first half, led by Shane Battier who had three in the first quarter.

LeBron James struggled to close out at the end and only scored 7 points, he finished with 30 in the night.

Durant went nuts in the fourth scoring 17 points, he had 36 in the game.

Check back in tomorrow as I break down what lead to the Thunder's Game 1 victory.
